I have enjoyed being a fitness instructor/personal trainer for over 20 years now. I resided in Lake Villa for 20 years before moving to Wadsworth and joining the MissFit team. I love being up north where it’s a bit quieter and I’m blessed to be very close to the DesPlaines River Trail where I bike whenever I get the chance. I enjoy outdoor activities with all the changing seasons we experience in this area. Cross country skiing is a favorite of mine when the weather allows. Hiking, biking and swimming are activities I enjoy and I recently entered my first triathlon where I experienced the challenge of swimming, biking, and jogging all back to back with thousands of other women. I love to be active and enjoy life to it’s fullest. Exercise is essential to our well being so to find things you enjoy and stay strong and fit to do them as long as you can is the secret to health and wellness.
My goal in training is to personalize programs to fit client’s desired goals while helping them enjoy their workout. I love to bring enthusiasm and energy to each session, along with knowledge to help my clients understand their bodies better and work within their own abilities. I also implement Pilates practices within my training sessions. To be strong, centered and balanced helps maintain total health and brings awareness about how the body moves and stabilizes to work most efficiently. I love my job and the fact that I can help women of all ages feel better and achieve their fitness goals so they can be their very best. Fitness is a habit we all need to incorporate into our lives. I enjoy helping people see how easy, fun and rewarding that can be.
